Adam's Art things are simple: Things that I have drawn that I deem snizzizzlin' enough to post in the ol' Archives.
But the Green Sketchbook tags? Whaddup with those, ya?

There is a sketchbook that I have obtained for some holiday or other. It sat latent in a box for most of last school year, but sometime during the monotony, I busted out the book and started the whole storm of madness with good ol' Inju.
This also explains the rings in the paper. Heh.

Again, when posting comments on my Art-chunks, (which I'm sure you will, being such devoted fans,) remember to create some lore for them! I've done my part with the crazy postings, now it's your turn.

My oh my, a Dibtorian soldier and his female counterpart...what could these two be up to?

I drew this picture before work (at Cinemark,) taking nearly two hours to do so. I was excessively bored, then I told myself:
"Hey, I haven't drawn something cool in a while...."
And that's how Feras and Urma came into being.

I drew this entire thing with a yellow mechanical pencil. (Who'da thunk?) That and a fancy-pants eraser and a solid-graphite pencil for shading....so I guess I lied. Oh well.

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is fast approaching, coming in the strategic guise of November. Faithful to his niche, a writer like myself is filled to bursting with froodiness with such a concept! I finally have an excuse to sit down for an hour or more EVERY DAY for THIRTY DAYS IN A ROW and write ABSOLUTE NONSENSE!*
.....But you see, this fantastic opportunity comes at a price. I cannot fully enjoy November when I have not completed my Eagle Award requirements. Naturally, I have procrastinated until the Absolute Last Four Months That I Have To Finish These Blasted Eagle Award Requirements, and these ALFMTIHTFTBEAR's are slowly killing me like one hundred and ninety-three strategically placed caramel-coated ivory bowling balls.
Well, I have yet to make up my mind whether I want to stick some of my work on this blog. Perhaps I'll keep you Faithful Readers posted on my NaNoWriMo '08 antics.

*Well, not absolute nonsense. My writing style differs from the styles of others in that I have the marvelous ability to create impromptu fantasy settings straight out of my brains. Usually, my stories are funnier the less time I have to come up with them.

I swear, this is my LAST post today concerning my fictional writings.

My writing is either
1) Very lame. I need to research, practice, and/or compare it to other writing styles to fix it
AND/OR
2) Better than I think it is. An author is his own worst critic, I realize, but I'm trying to be humble.

That's it. Crazy, in't it? As crazy as a pregnant Magrallgadon in the Flaptorkian Stoog Forest.

In my previous post, I found that I was nigh incomprehensible. Here, I will begin exposing my opinions about literature.
My favorite kind is fantasy. Anything with dragons, magic, forgotten mysteries or any combination of the three gives me tingly goosebumps of goodness.* These include Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn Series and his book Elantris, plus many others too numerous to mention.
(Lately, I've been playing a fantasy game called Folklore for the PS3, and I mostly have been playing it just for the mysterious plot being revealed. It's that element that makes these books and games hard to reread, but still fantastic.)
I've been trying to write a fantasy story for quite some time, always planning and starting but always stopping abruptly, then beginning again with a different plot. Currently I have no less than five or six beginning pages typed up for fantasy stories, but they always poop out....
Another interesting bit about these stories is that I always end up using the same characters. Their roles, inheritances and loyalties may vary from tale to tale, but each character remains essentially the same.

*Okay, certain restrictions apply. In all truth, I am a devilish book critic. This gets me into no end of trouble.

I really haven't actually written much here on this blog. I suppose I should. Most of what I've sent so far is just pictures taken from my cellular telephone device.......

A blog is not so much a blog as it is a museum or a window looking into the soul. (However, you'd best look away from mine soon, because most people can't stand the sight of severe amalgamations of ceramic urns filled with Prattles and Wigs Ice Cream: Limited Tomato Licorice Edition for too long.)

As for these portals into one's feelings and emotions, I have this to say: Do people post their minds on their electronic sleeves to brag, or to vent, or to disturb others? This question has been plaguing mankind (and indeed, lemurkind) for untold millennia. When the first microorganism oozed forth from the primordial soup, I believe its first sentient thought---nay, its first base instinct---was:

"I wonder how many hits my blog site will have by Tuesday."

That's the fullness of my ranting for now. May you choke on my ineffable wisdom, for it will give you more time to mull it over.
